About Me: I'm a new mom (Clover was born March 7, 2008), freelance translator & interpreter, teacher, wife, daughter, friend, and dog lover. I am also a true gemini. I have always gone in many directions all at once. I read several books at a time; I hold down multiple jobs in varying fields; some days I dress like a tomboy and others like a fashionista; I never get the same haircut twice; I am talkative and also very shy; at some point in my life I have wanted (sometimes simultaneously) to be: a flight attendant, a pilot, a writer, an architect, an opera singer, a politician, a grass-roots environmentalist, a fashion designer, an intellectual, a UN interpreter, a scuba diver, an NPR reporter, a dancer, ..., ..., ...; I have loved people for a day and others for years; as a driver I yell at pedestrians and as a pedestrian I yell at drivers; I have utopian dreams of building a better world; I've played volleyball, completed triathlons, practiced yoga; I've worked at the UN and at McDonald's;
